Rigour and sources

We prioritise verifiable facts: NGO reports, international press, academic work, parliamentary documents, and cross-checked testimonies.

When figures or responsibilities are debated, we indicate recognised ranges and flag areas of uncertainty rather than stating without nuance.

Quotes, images, and documents include clear attribution (author, date, source) when available.

Corrections and reports

Any reader can report a typo, wrong date, translation, or image issue via the « Report an error » form on articles and profiles.

Each report receives an acknowledgement and is handled within 72 business hours. If accepted, content is updated; substantial corrections may be noted editorially.

Suggestions for new content (associations, events, archives) follow the same review process before publication.

Sensitive topics

The Sri Lankan conflict, the Tamil genocide, and mass violence are treated factually and respectfully of conflicting memories.

We distinguish historical narrative from political advocacy: our articles document facts without substituting for a court or reconciliation body.

Content that may distress survivors or their descendants is flagged when relevant.

Editorial independence

No content is published under institutional or commercial pressure. Any partnerships with diaspora associations do not predetermine editorial line.

External contributors are credited when content is co-signed or published in their name, by prior agreement.
